The speaker today was Marilyn Phenow representing the Ronald McDonald House Charities. She spoke about their major fundraiser, Red Shoe Day, which takes place on June 28th.

The awesome kids from High Tech High International were on hand to participate in the quarter art contest! Thanks to Maryanne Aguilar, Kevin Vankham, Sofia Garcia, Shabron Gaynor, Jaime Ocadiz-Ortega and adviser Stephanie Lytle.

April 8, 2012 - Easter Sunrise Service.

The Point Loma Kiwanis Club, in partnership with the US Navy, presented their 63rd annual Easter Sunrise Service this morning at the Cabrillo National Monument. On hand to speak was Captain Scott Adams, Commanding Officer Naval Base Point Loma, Chaplain Jerome Hinson, Fleet Chaplain THIRD Fleet, Doug Beckham, Lt Governor, Kiwanis Division 21 and Dr Dena Riso, Vice President Point Loma Kiwanis Club. Also on hand was the Brass Ensemble from Navy Band Southwest and the color guard from Navy Base Point Loma.
